Chicken Kebab (Kabob) – easy recipe with the juiciest and best kebab (kabob) ever! Threaded on skewers and marinated with olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, garlic and cumin. So good.

What Is Kebab (kabob)?

Kebab, sometimes spelled as Kabob or Kebob, are marinated meat threaded on skewers and grilled over fire. Kebab is one of the most delicious food ideas ever invented.

Chicken Kebab is my favorite as they are so juicy and delicious. They are very easy to make and this chicken kebab recipe is the only recipe you’ll need this summer.

My recipe produces extremely flavorful and juicy chicken as I used the following secret ingredients to marinate the meat.

Chicken Kebab Marinade

The marinade is the soul of any grilled chicken skewers. You want juicy and flavoful chicken so every bite is oozing with amazing good taste.

Chicken kabbab recipe

Ingredients:

500g boneless chicken (breast or thigh), cut into small cubes

1 cup plain yogurt

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Salt and pepper to taste

Skewers (metal or bamboo, if using bamboo soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning)

Optional: chopped onions, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes for skewering with the chicken

Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, salt, and pepper.

Mix well to make the marinade.

Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are hot and white before grilling.

Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, alternating with any optional vegetables if desired.

Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and nicely charred on the outside.

Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the chicken kebabs hot with rice, salad, or flatbread, and enjoy.

Mutton kabbab recipe

Ingredients:

500 grams of mutton (boneless)

1 large onion, finely chopped

2-3 green chilies, finely chopped

2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped

1 tablespoon roasted gram flour (besan)

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

  1. Instructions:

Clean and wash the mutton thoroughly.

Pat it dry with a kitchen towel and cut it into small pieces.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mutton pieces with chopped onions, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves, mint leaves, roasted gram flour, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt.

Mix everything together, ensuring that the spices are evenly distributed and coat the mutton pieces well.

You can use your hands for better mixing.

Cover the bowl and marinate the mutton mixture for at least 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.

This allows the flavors to blend well.

After marination, take the mutton mixture out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.

Now, take small portions of the marinated mixture and shape them into oval or cylindrical kebabs.

You can use skewers if you prefer.

Heat oil in a frying pan or grill pan over medium heat.

Once the oil is hot, carefully place the kebabs in the pan, making sure not to overcrowd them.

Cook the kebabs for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through.

You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of the kebabs.

Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Serve the mutton kebabs hot with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
