Ingredients:

250g pasta of your choice2 tablespoons butter2 tablespoons all-purpose flour2 cups milkSalt and pepper to taste1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Cook the Pasta:

Boil water in a large pot, add salt, and cook the pasta according to the package instructions.Drain and set aside.

Prepare the White Sauce:

In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.Add the all-purpose flour and whisk continuously to make a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until it turns a light golden color.

Add Milk:

Gradually pour in the milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens. This is your white sauce.

Season:

Season the white sauce with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if desired. Adjust according to your taste.

Combine with Pasta:

Add the cooked pasta to the white sauce and toss until the pasta is well coated.

Cheese (Optional):

If you like, stir in grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor and creaminess.
