Dosa Recipe Restaurant Style Perfect Recipe/Neer Dosa Simple Recipe 1

What is dosa?

Dosa is a very famous South Indian food that eat not only in India but also in various countries, it is made with lentils & fermented rice batter, you can eat dosa usually with sambar, pickles, chutneys, dosa is a breakfast recipe, dosa is prepared in many ways such as masala dosa, rave dosa, ragi dosa,neer dosa, instant dosa, oats dosa, etc.

Dosa Recipe

Easy method of dosa recipe

  • 1 Cup Rice
  • 1 Cup Urad dal
  • 1 Tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt as required
  • Water as required (To make filling )
  • 4 Potatoes medium size (Boiled & mashed )
  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 Tspn Cumin
  • 1 Tspn Mustard seeds
  • 3_4 Green chilies chopped
  • Salt (as required)
  • 2 Tablespoon Oil
  • 2 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • Some Curry leaves
  • 1 Tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 Tsp Chat masala powder (Optional)
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 Tsp Lemon juice
  1. First we make masala filling Let’s start making.
  2. First take a pan add oil & put on flame when oil become hot add cumin seeds and mustard seeds saute it, add curry leaves.
  3. Now add chopped onion and chopped green chillies saute it when onion turns golden.
  4. Add mashed potatoes in pan, now add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder you can also add chat masala mix well.
  5. Now add coriander leaves when all ingredients mix well add lemon juice.
  6. Cook 2_3 minutes and turn off flame.
  7. Our filling is ready.
  8. First wash urad dal & rice in running water with fenugreek seeds & soak it in water 6_8 hours.
  9. After that drain water &grind rice & urad dal by adding little water.
  10. Now put all ground dal & rice paste in big bowl cover with lid.
  11. Keep it overnight.
  12. Now in morning add salt in dosa batter .
  13. Dosa batter is now ready.
  14. Now take a pan put on flame make dosa add some oil.
  15. When dosa starts golden brown color add filling of potato mixture in center.
  16. Flip dosa and dosa is ready to serve.
  17. Serve dosa with tomato chutney, sambar, coconut chutney

Rava dosa recipe:

Rava dosa recipe is a famous South Indian recipe which is made with rave & rice flour, it’s a instant dosa recipe, let’s start making.

Ingredients

2   Cup rava

1   Cup rice flour

1/2     maida ( all purpose flour)

3_5      green chilies chopped

1/2    Cup onion chopped

2       tsp ginger grated

I      Tsp cumin seeds

1     Tsp black pepper powder

Oil as required

Salt as required

Water as required

Instructions

First take a mixing bowl add rava, rice flour, all purpose flour, onion, ginger grated,  green chilies cumin seeds, black pepper powder and salt and coriander leaves mix well.

Add water & mix continuously to avoid lamps, make fine dosa batter.

Now keep it aside for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes.

take a dosa pan on flame when pan become hot add dosa batter with big spoon in middle of pan & Spread it in circular motion to make thick & crispy dosa.

Add oil on corners of dosa, cook on medium heat when dosa turn golden & crispy remove from pan & make another.

Rave dosa is ready to serve with tomato chutney, coconut chutney.

Ragi dosa

Ragi dosa is made with ragi flour, it’s a healthy dosa recipe, it is rich in fiber, iron, and calcium. It’s a gluten free & low calorie dosa.

Let’s start Ragi dosa.

Ingredients

2   Cup Ragi flour

1/2     Cup rice

1/2    Cup urad dal

Water as required

Salt as required

Oil as required

Instructions

First wash urad dal, rice in running water & soak it for 6 _8  hour.

After that grind dal & rice with little water and make a smooth paste.

Now take a  mixing bowl add ragi flour, ground rice & dal smooth paste mix well, add water & make batter smooth.

Now cover the  batter with lid & keep aside for overnight.

Now in morning add salt in batter, the consistency of batter should be running ( same as dosa batter)

Take a  dosa pan put on flame take a big spoon and add dosa mixture in center  of pan  with help of spoon spread it in circular motion.

Add oil on corners of dosa.

When dosa became golden crispy remove from pan & make another dosa same process.

Ragi dosa is ready serve it with coconut chutney & tomato ketup.

Neer dosa recipe

Neer dosa is also a very famous South Indian dish that usually made in breakfast. It is  made with rice batter.

neer means water in kannada language the batter of dosa is very thin so its called neer dosa  let’s start making.

Ingredients

 Cup regular rice

Salt as required

Water as required

Oil as required

Instructions

First of all wash rice in running water & soak it for 6_8 hours.

After soaking time drain water from rice.

Now add rice in grinder jar & make a paste you can add water while grinding rice.

Now transfer smooth rice paste in a mixing bowl add salt & mix well.

Now the consistency of batter should be watery consistency. Keep this batter 15_20 minutes to make dosa.

Now take a dosa pan put on flame when pan become medium hot add dosa batter with help of big spoon.

You have to add batter in center of pan & Spread batter gradually in circular motion.

Add oil corner of dosa.

When dosa cooked well remove dosa in a plate.

Make another dosa as same process.

Serve dosa with tomato chutney, coconut chutney, etc.

Oats dosa recipe

Let’s start making simple Oats dosa recipe.

Ingredients

2    Cup oats (quick oats)

1     Cup rice flour

1/2     cup rava

1/2     Cup yogurt

2      small grated grated carrots

2       small onion Chopped

3     green chilies chopped

Salt as required

Water as required

Oil as required

Coriander leaves

Instructions

First take oats and grind it in a grinder jar.

Make a  smooth powder.

Now take a mixing bowl add  oats powder, rice flour, rave, yogurt, grated carrots chopped onion Chopped green chillies &  salt mix well.

Now add water & make a dosa batter.

Add coriander leaves.

Keep aside for 15_20 minutes.

After 20 minutes take a dosa pan, put on flame when pan become medium hot, add dosa batter.

Add dosa batter with big spoon in center of pan & Spread it in circular motion to make crispy dosa.

Add oil in corners of dosa.

When dosa turn light golden remove in plate.

Dosa is ready serve with coconut chutney or any chutney.

Instant dosa recipe

Let’s start making instant dosa recipe.

IngREDIENTS

2   Cup rice flour

1/2     Cup rave ( semolina)

1/2     Cup All purpose flour ( maida)

1/2      Cup yogurt

Oil as required

Water as required

1   tsp baking soda

1   Tsp salt as required

1      Cup  Grated carrots

1     Cup onion chopped

5    green chilies chopped

Coriander leaves

Instructions

Take a mixing bowl add rice flour, rave, all purpose flour,yogurt and salt mix well.

Add water & make a dosa batter stir continuously to avoid making lamps.

Now add grated carrots, onions, green chilies & coriander leaves add baking soda mix well & keep aside for 15_20 minutes.

After medium heat put dosa pan on flame when pan become medium hot put dosa batter in center of pan.

Spread it immediately to make thin & crispy dosa.

Add oil on corners of dosa.

When dosa turn golden brown.

Remove dosa in plate & make another as same process.

Serve dosa with coconut chutney or any other chutney.

Tomato dosa

Let’s start making tomato dosa Recipe.

IngREDIENTS

4      medium size tomatoes chopped

4    Cup dosa batter ( fermented rice urad dal batter)

2   medium size onion Chopped

4     green chilies chopped

Coriander leaves Chopped

Oil as required

Salt as required.

Instructions

First grind tomatoes in grind jar.

Take a mixing bowl add ground tomatoes paste add dosa batter, add chopped onion, add grind chillies chopped & salt mix well.

Add water and adjust consistency.

Now take a dosa pan put on flame.

When dosa pan become medium hot add dosa batter in center of pan.

Immediately spread it in circular motion.

To make thick and crispy dosa.

Cook 2 sides when dosa start cooking add oil on corners .

When dosa turn golden brown.

Remove dosa in plate..

Make another dosa as same process.

Serve dosa with chutney you want.
