What is jeera rice:
Jeera rice is a famous Indian dish which made by cumin seed (jeera) and other spices it is a savory and flavorful rice that prepare and commonly served as an complement to different Indian curries.
To make jeera rice soak rice 1/2 hour take a pan add ghee or butter add cumin seed when cumin seed turn golden brown and release their flavor add dried red chilli add coriander leaves saute it after add soaked basmati rice, saute basmati rice with cumin seed when grain coated with spices add water add salt when water absorbed, jeera rice is ready.
Jeera Rice Recipe
Easy method to make jeera rice
- 2 Cup Basmati Rice
- 4 Cup Water
- 4 Tbsp Ghee or butter
- 2 Teaspoon Cumin
- 3 to 4 Red chillies
- Salt to test
- Fresh coriander leaves
- First wash long grain basmati rice under water then soak rice 1/2 hour
- Take a pan add ghee or butter add cumin seeds stir it ,when cumin seeds become golden brown add red chillis add some coriander leaves
- When all fried add long grain basmati rice sauté it for 5 minutes
- When all ingredients coated with rice add water add salt
- When boil comes minimize heat to low and cover the pan
- When water absorbs turn off flame
- Rest it for 10 minutes
- You can garnish jeera rice with coriander leaves

Dal fry recipe
Ingredients
2 cup toor dal, 4 tablespoon ghee or butter, 2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 2 medium onion (chopped) 4 green chilies, 2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 2 medium tomato (chopped) ,1 tsp Turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 2 tsp coriander powder, salt (to taste) ,2 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves.
Instructions:
1) First wash the lentil under water after that soak for 1/2 hour.
2) After that drain water add lentils in cooker ,add 3 Cup water, turmeric powder, salt put lid and cook on medium flame. After 3-4 whistle turn off flame.
3) Take a pan add oil or butter add cumin seed saute it add onion (chopped) add green chilies saute it when onion turn golden brown add ginger garlic paste saute it. Add tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder when tomatoes cooked well add lentils cooked from cooker now you can adjust consistency. Now cook it 10-15 minute on low flame garnish with coriander leaves.
Jeera rice and Dal fry is best combination.
Paneer Butter Masala:

Ingredients
100grams paneer(small cubes)
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 tablespoon oil
Salt (as required)
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1 large tomato puree
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 medium size onion(chopped)
Coriander leaves chopped
Instructions:
Take a pan put on flame add oil and butter add onion saute when onion changes its colour add ginger garlic paste saute it again .
Next add tomato puree in pan cook another 5 minutes when oil start separating add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and salt mix well cook another 2-3 minutes.
Now turn flame low and add heavy cream stir well if you want you can add sugar to adjust the flavour otherwise you can skip it.
Now add paneer cubes mix it,coat paneer with all ingredients,if gravy is too thick you can add water to adjust consistency.
Cook another 5 minute garnish with coriander leaves,turn off flame.
Serve paneer butter masala with jeera rice .
Aloo gobi masala:
Let’s start making aloo gobi masala recipe
Ingredients:
2 cauliflower florets
1 large potato(peeled and cut in small pieces)
1 inch grated ginger
2 garlic cloves
2 or 3 green chillies
1 medium size onion (chopped)
2 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tablespoon oil
Salt (as required)
Coriander leaves (chopped)
Instructions:
First take a pan add oil put on flame when oil become hot add cumin seeds,add grated ginger minced garlic and chopped green chillies saute it
Next add onion when onion turns its colour add chopped tomatoes mix well.
When tomatoes cooked well and become soft add cauliflower(cut) and potatoes (cut) add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder mix well.
When all ingredients coated well add water cover lid.
After 10-15 minutes when cauliflower and potatoes become soft add coriander leaves.
Turn off flame.
Serve aloo gobi masala with jeera rice.
Chicken curry
Let’s start making Chicken curry in a simple way
Ingredients
1 kg chicken ( cut in pieces)
1 cup coconut milk
1/2: tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 tablespoon oil
2 large onion Chopped
4 tomatoes chopped
Coriander leaves ( for garnish)
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt as required
Instructions
First take a pan put on flame add oil when oil become hot add onion when changes its color.
Then add ginger garlic paste stir well.
Now add chopped tomatoes and mix well.
When tomatoes become soft add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, paprika, black pepper powder, salt and red chilli powder mix well
Next wash chicken & add in pan
Mix it until all ingredients mixed well to chicken.
Add coconut milk mix well.
Cover lid and cook it.
Add water and cook chicken to soft.
When chicken become soft add coriander leaves.
Turn off flame.
Chicken curry is ready serve with jeera rice.
Vegetables curry
Let’s start making simple & tasty vegetables curry
Ingredients
1 cup cauliflower florets
3 cup mixed vegetables ( green beans, peas, bell pepper, carrot) etc.
2 tomatoes chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 red chilli powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tablespoon curry powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 onions Chopped
4 tablespoon oil
coriander leaves
salt as required

Take a pan put on flame add oil when oil become hot add onion saute it.
When onion changes its color add ginger garlic paste saute it.
Add tomatoes chopped mix well.
Now add curry powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder mix well.
Now add mix vegetables and cauliflower florets & mix well.
When all ingredients mixed well add coconut milk.
Now reduce heat to low and cook 20_25 minutes cover lid.
When all vegetables cooked well add coriander leaves.
Vegetables curry is ready.
Serve with jeera rice, Naan or plain rice.
