Italian Braciole Recipe

Ingredients:

Thinly sliced beef (about 1/4 inch thick)

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup raisins (optional)

1/2 cup pine nuts (optional)

Tomato sauce

Instructions:

Lay out the thinly sliced beef and season with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, raisins, and pine nuts.

Spoon the breadcrumb mixture onto each slice of beef, spreading it evenly.

Roll up the beef slices and secure with toothpicks.

In a pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown the braciole on all sides.

Once browned, add tomato sauce to the pan, covering the braciole.

Simmer on low heat for about 1-2 hours until the meat is tender.

Remove toothpicks before serving.

Pork Braciole Recipe

4 slices prosciuttoOlive oil

2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions:

Season the pork cutlets with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and chopped parsley.

Lay a slice of prosciutto on each pork cutlet, then spread the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the prosciutto.

Roll up each cutlet and secure with toothpicks.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Brown the pork rolls on all sides.

Pour marinara sauce over the browned pork rolls, cover, and simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until the pork is cooked through.

Remove toothpicks before serving.
