What is Bread pakoda?
Pakoda is a famous South Asian cuisine it is famous especially in India.
The process of making Pakoda is different according to making methods & regional preferences, Pakoda can be made using chilli, eggplant, spinach, onion & potato & non _ veg like fish, chicken Pakodas. Pakoda are made in monsoon season in India with a simple way.
Bread pakoda Recipe
Let’s start making Bread pakoda Recipe
ingredients
1) 16 of bread
2) 4 potatoes (Boiled and mashed)
3) Oil (for deep frying)
4) Water as required
5) Salt as required
6) 1 tsp garam masala powder
7) 1 tsp cumin powder
8) 1 cup gram flour ( basan)
9) 1 tsp baking soda
10)1 tsp red chilli powder
11) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Instructions
1) First of all take a large bowl add potatoes, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, red chilli powder, turmeric powder mix well
2) Now take 2 slices of bread first take one bread slice on top of bread ( potato mixture)
3) Now cross cut the bread as sandwich type
4) Next take another bowl add gram flour, salt and water in it make thick paste
5) Next take a frying pan put on flame add oil for deep frying when oil become hot
6) Take 1 piece of bread dip it in a gram flour mixture carefully
7) make sure bread coat all side now put coated bread in oil fry both side
8) When bread pakoda become golden brown remove it and add another & fry it
9) Bread pakoda is ready serve with tomato ketchup.
Chicken pakoda
Let’s start making Chicken pakoda
Ingredients
1) 500 gm boneless chicken (small pieces)
2) oil ( for deep frying)
3) Water as required
4) Salt as required
5) Coriander leaves chopped
6) 3 Tablespoon yogurt
7) 2 tsp lemon juice
8) 1 tsp cumin seeds
9) 1 cup gram flour ( basan)
10) 3 tsp rice flour
11) 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
12) 1 tsp garam masala powder
13) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
14) 1 tsp red chilli powder
Instructions
1) First of all take a big bowl for marination than wash chicken & add it in a bowl
2) Add Salt, yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & coriander leaves mix well keep it 1 hour.
3) Next take another bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt and cumin seeds mix well
4) Add water & make a paste now take a frying pan put on flame add oil when oil for deep frying become hot.
5) Take marinated chicken dip it in gram flour mixture carefully add it in a pan deep fry it
6) When chicken become golden brown remove it in a plate
7) chicken pakoda is ready.
Onion pakoda

Ingredients
1) 4 large onion sliced
2) 2 cup gram flour (basan)
3) 4 Tablespoon rice flour
4) oil for deep frying
5) Water as required
6) Salt as required
7) 2_3 green chilies chopped
8) Coriander leaves as required
9) 1tsp cumin seed
10) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
11) 2 tsp red chilli powder
12) 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
1) First of all take a mixing bowl add onion (sliced) ,gram flour, rice flour, salt, green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder & red chilli powder mix well
2) Now add water and make thick paste add baking soda mix well
3) Take a frying pan put on flame add oil for deep frying when oil become hot
4) Take onion mixture from spoon or hand carefully put it in hot oil
5) Fry till it become golden brown after that Remove it in a plate
6) onion pakoda is ready serve hot with tomato ketchup
Paneer pakoda Recipe
Let’s start making paneer pakoda Recipe
Ingredients
1) 500 gram paneer (cut in pieces)
2) 2 cup gram flour
3) 4 Tablespoon rice flour
4) oil for deep frying
5) Water as required
6) Salt as required
7) 2 tsp chat masala powder
8) 2_3 green chilies chopped
9) 2 tsp cumin powder
10) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
11) 2 tsp red chilli powder
12) Coriander leaves as required
Instructions
1) First of all take a mixing bowl add gram flour rice flour, salt, chat masala powder, green chilies, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & coriander leaves mix well.
2) Add water & make a thick paste.
3) Take a paneer in another bowl
4) Take a pan put on flame add oil for deep frying when oil become hot.
5) Take 1 paneer pieces dip it in gram flour paste make sure paneer coat with gram flour paste all sides
6) carefully add coated paneer in hot oil fry it when it become golden brown remove it
7) fry all paneer with same process
8) paneer pakoda is ready serve hot with tomato ketchup or any dip sauce.
Ribbon pakoda Recipe
Let’s start making Ribbon pakoda Recipe
Ingredients
1) 2 cup rice flour
2) 1/2 cup gram flour
3) 1/2 roasted gram flour
4) oil for deep frying
5) Water as required
6) Salt as required
7) 2 Tablespoon hot oil
8) 2 tsp cumin seeds
9) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
10) 1 tsp red chilli powder
Equipment to make Ribbon pakoda : murukku press with ribbon pakoda plate or Ribbon pakoda press.
Ingredients
1) First of all take a large mixing bowl add rice flour ,gram flour, Roasted gram flour, salt , hot oil ,cumin seeds, turmeric powder ,red chilli powder, mix well
2) Add water & make a thick paste
3) Take a ribbon pakoda maker greese with oil
4) Take a frying pan put on flame add oil for deep frying
5) When oil become hot, take small portion of thick paste, add it in a ribbon pakoda maker
6) press ribbon pakoda maker in hot oil directly in circular motion
7) Fry both side when ribbon pakoda become golden brown remove it
8) make all ribbon pakoda with same process
9) Ribbon pakoda is ready keep it in a airtight container.
Cauliflower pakoda

Ingredients
1) 2 small Cauliflower
2) 2 cup gram flour
3) 4 Tablespoon rice flour
4) 2 tsp red chilli powder
5) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
6) oil for deep frying
7) Water as required
8) Salt as required
9) 2 tsp chat masala powder
10) 2_4 green chilies chopped
11) 2 tsp cumin seed
12) Coriander leaves as required
Instructions
1) First of all take a mixing bowl add gram flour ,rice flour red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, chat masala powder, green chilies, cumin seeds & coriander leaves mix well
2) Add Water & make a thick paste
3) Next wash Cauliflower florets & add it in gram flour paste make sure Cauliflower florets coated well with gram flour paste
4) Take a pan put on flame add oil for deep frying when oil become hot
5) Take Cauliflower coated with gram flour carefully add it in frying pan
6) Fry both side when pakoda become golden brown remove it
7) same process fry all pakoda
8) Cauliflower pakoda is ready serve with green chutney, tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
Palak pakoda Recipe

Ingredients
1) 4 cup spinach leaves Chopped
2) 2 cup gram flour (basan)
3) 4 Tablespoon rice flour
4) oil for deep frying
5) Water as required
6) Salt as required
7) 2 tsp chat masala powder
8) 4 green chilies chopped
9) 2 tsp cumin seed
10) 1 tsp turmeric powder
11) 2 tsp red chilli powder
12) Coriander leaves
13) 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
1) First wash spinach leaves than dry it
2) Take a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour, salt, chat masala powder, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & coriander leaves & baking soda mix well
3) Add spinach leaves to gram flour paste mix well
4) Take a frying pan add oil for deep frying
5) Take spinach and gram flour batter with spoon or hand
6) Add it in a frying pan carefully when oil become hot
7) Fry both side when pakoda become golden brown remove it in a plate
8) Serve pakoda with tomato ketchup or any chutney.
