What is aloo paratha?
Aloo paratha is a very famous Indian chapati that is filled with mashed potatoes & spices, it is vary tasty dish specially kinds will love it
Aloo refers potato & paratha means chapati. You can make this dish as breakfast recipe or you can make aloo paratha for lunch box you can also tell this Indian stuffed bread. You can Serve this with chutney, yogurt or pickles,,you can also enjoy this with cup of tea.
Aloo paratha Recipe
Easy method of Aloo paratha Recipe
- 4 Medium potatoes (Boiled )
- 1 Small
- 3 Green chilies chopped
- Oil as required
- Salt as required
- 1 Tspn Amchur powder
- 1 Tspn Garam
- 1 Tspn Chilli
- 1 Tsp Cumin seeds
- Coriander leaves (For making dough )
- 3 Cup Wheat
- 1 Tspn Salt
- Water as required
- First take a mixing bowl add wheat flour & salt mix well add water & form a soft dough.
- Cover the dough & rest it for 30 minutes.
- Now we make filling for this we take pan put on flame add oil.
- When oil become hot add cumin seeds.
- Then add chopped onion green chilies saute it.
- When onion change it’s color add mashed potatoes.
- Now we add red chilli powder ,garam masala powder amchur powder & salt mix well.
- Add coriander leaves when all ingredients mix well turn off flame.
- Now take a dough & make balls take one dough ball first.
- Roll the dough as circular.
- Now add 1 tsp full potato mixture in center of dough ball.
- Now bring together all edges (corners) of dough.
- Carefully seal the dough.
- Now flat the dough dust some flour & roll it.
- Carefully roll it don’t put too much pressure.
- Now take tawa or non _ sticky pan put on flame.
- When pan become medium hot add paratha.
- When paratha start cooking Flip it & add some oil, add oil in both sides.
- When paratha becomes golden brown on two sides.
- Remove in a plate & Serve with curd , chutneys or pickles
Lachha paratha
Lachha paratha is a very famous layered Indian paratha Recipe, we make it by creating multiple layers. Let’s start making.
Ingredients
4 cup all purpose flour
Salt as required
Water as required
Extra Ghee or oil for frying.
Instructions
First take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, salt & Ghee mix well.
Than add water & make a dough.
Rest it for 10-15 minutes.
After resting take dough & make balls.
Now take a dough & roll it in circular shape make small circle of 3-4 inch.
Roll all balls.
Now take Rolled dough ball add & Spread some oil & flour.
Now add another rolled dough ball on Spread oil & flour dough rolled ball.
Again Spread some oil & flour on rolled dough ball.
Repeat process until all rolled dough placed on oil & flour rolled dough ball.
Now next start folding it from one edge to another edge .
Roll it tightly one edge to another.
Seal the layers & press it gently.
Now cut the dough like dough ball.
Next flat the dough ball.
Dust the flour & Roll the dough ball.
Now take a non sticky pan or tawa put on flame.
When pan become medium hot add paratha.
When paratha start cooking Flip it & add oil again Flip & oil or ghee.
When paratha becomes golden brown & cooked on both sides.
Remove in plate & Serve it with pickle chutney, curd or korma ( chicken korma).
Paneer paratha
Let’s start making paneer paratha Recipe
Ingredients
4 cup wheat flour
400 grams paneer ( crumbled)
4 green chilies chopped
2 small onion Chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Oil as required
Salt as required
Coriander leaves Chopped
InStruCTIONS
Take a mixing bowl add wheat flour & salt mix well.
Now add water & make a soft dough.
Cover it.
another mixing bowl add paneer ,onion, green chilies, coriander powder, salt red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander leaves mix well.
When all ingredients mix well keep aside.
Now take a dough make ball.
Take on ball & roll it.
Add paneer mixture full 1 Tsp in center of dough roll ..
Now bring together all edges Carefully.
Make a ball & flat it by using hand palm.
Now add some flour & again roll it Carefully.
After that take pan or tawa put on flame.
When pan become medium hot add paratha.
Add oil both side & cook it.
When both sides paratha becomes golden brown.
Remove paratha.
Serve paneer paratha with pickle, chutney.
Methi paratha Recipe
Let’s start making simple methi.
Ingredients
4 cup wheat flour
2 cup fresh fenugreek leaves ( methi) chopped
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Oil as required
Salt as required
Water as required
Instructions
First of all take a mixing bowl add wheat flour, fenugreek leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt oil and cumin seed mix it.
Now add water in bowl & make a soft dough.
Cover it & Rest it for 20_25 minutes.
After that make a ball ( medium size)
Roll the dough.
Now next take a pan or tawa put on flame.
When pan become medium hot.
Add paratha, cook it with some oil.
When paratha becomes golden brown remove in plate.
Serve it with chutney, pickle or yogurt.
Malabar paratha Recipe
Malabar paratha is a Kerala paratha
Let’s start making Malabar paratha.
Ingredients
4 cup all purpose flour
2 Tablespoon Oil
1 tsp salt as required
Water as required
4 Tablespoon Ghee or butter.
Instructions
First of all take a mixing bowl add all purpose flour add salt mix it.
Now add & make a dough.
Add oil and make a soft dough by kneading.
Cover it and rest it for 10-15 minutes.
Now after Rest time make a ball form dough.
Now Roll the ball.
Next add ghee on top of rolled dough.
Now form pleats by start folding form beginning.
Under pleated dough tuck the loose end on reaching the end.
Now take a pan or tawa put on flame
When pan become medium hot
Add paratha you can add oil or ghee on it.
Flip the paratha & cook on both sides.
When paratha turn golden brown.
Remove it in a plate.
Serve Malabar paratha with chutney or pickle.
Gobi paratha Recipe
Let’s start making Gabi paratha Recipe.
Ingredients
For making dough
4 cup wheat flour
2 Tablespoon Oil
Salt as required
Water as required
To make filling
6 cup cauliflower chopped
1 tsp cumin seed
2 tsp grated ginger
4 green chilies chopped
2 small onion Chopped
Salt as required
1 Tsp Red chilli powder
Oil or ghee as required
Coriander leaves Chopped
Instructions
First of all take a mixing bowl add wheat flour, oil, salt mix well
Add water & make soft dough.
Keep it rest for 20_25 minutes
Now we prepare filling
Fir this take a pan on flame add oil, when oil become hot add cumin seeds, ginger & green chilies saute it.
Next add onion when onion changes its color
add cauliflower floret, salt, garam masala powder, turmeric powder & red chilli powder mix well, add cover lid.
When Cauliflower became soft add coriander leaves & turn off flame.
After resting time make ball of dough.
Take 1 ball roll it add cauliflower mixture in center of rolled dough.
Next bring together all edges Carefully & make again ball.
Flat the ball & against roll it Carefully.
Now take a pan or tawa put on flame
When pan become hot add paratha rolled add oil & cook both side by apply oil.
When paratha becomes golden brown remove in plate
Serve with chutney, pickle or yogurt.
