What is Bonda?
Bonda is very famous Snack, which is made by coating mashed potato which is called aloo Bonda and another is in maida we add curd,chopped onion, salt, coriander leaves, chopped green chillies, baking soda mix it & make rounds shape & deep fry it, it’s a deep fried Snack.

Let’s start making bonda in a easy way
- 1 Cup All purpose flour (maida
- 1/2 Cup Curd
- 1 Onion
- 1 Tsp Baking soda
- Coriander leaves
- First take all purpose flour add curd in it mix well & keep aside for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour add onion, salt, coriander leaves & baking soda mix well.
- Now take a frying pan turn on flame & add oil for deep frying.
- You can add little water to adjust consistency take a small portion of mixture make ball ( round shape) carefully add in oil.
- Deep fry it when become golden brown remove in papar or kitchen towel to absorb oil.
- Fry remaining bondas.
- Bonda is ready serve with tomato chutney, Rasam, sambar or coconut chutney
Aloo Bonda
Let’s start making Aloo Bonda
Ingredients
6 medium size potatoes ( Boiled & mashed).
2 small size onion Chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
4_5 green chilies chopped
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tsp mustard seeds
2 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala powder
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves Chopped.
To make BaTTER:
2 Cup chickpea flour (basan)
1 pinch turmeric powder
1 tsp baking soda
Water as required
Salt as required
Instructions
Take a pan put on flame add oil add mustard seeds saute it.
Add onion, green chilies & ginger garlic paste when onion turns golden add red chilli powder, turmeric powder mix it.
Next add boiled & mashed potatoes, add lemon juice salt, coriander leaves, garam masala powder mix well.
When all ingredients mix well turn off flame.
Let it cool down then take small portion of potato mixture & make round ball keep aside.
Next take a bowl add chickpea flour turmeric powder, salt & baking soda mix well add water & make batter.
Take a frying pan add oil for deep frying now dip potato round ball in chickpea batter coat all side carefully.
Fry it until it turn golden brown.
After that Remove from oil & Serve it with ketchup or any chutney you want.
Mysore Bonda Recipe

Ingredients
2 Cup split black gram ( urad dal)
4 Tablespoon all purpose flour
1/2 Cup rice flour
2 small onion Chopped
4 green chilies chopped
1 inch ginger ( grated)
Salt as required
Oil for frying
Curry leaves Chopped
Instructions
First wash urad dal in running water, soak it 4_6 hours.
Grind urad dal by draining water.
Take a bowl add ground urad dal paste, add all purpose flour, rice flour, onion Chopped, green chilies ginger garlic,salt curry leaves mix well, you can add little water to adjust consistency.
Take a frying pan put on flame add oil for frying, wet your hands take a small portion make round ball.
Carefully add round ball in frying pan fry it all side.
After fry all side remove from oil put on kitchen towel or paper to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot, MYSORE BONDA is ready.
Egg Bonda recipe

IngREDIENTS
8 hard boiled eggs
2 Cup chickpea flour
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
Oil for frying
Water ( as required)
Coriander leaves
Mint leaves Chopped
Instructions
First peel the boil egg & keep aside.
Take a bowl add chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt & garam masala powder & mix well. Add water and make a paste.
Now take a frying pan add oil for frying when oil is hot,take egg and dip egg in batter or paste coat all side with hands.
After that Remove it on paper or kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Egg Bonda is ready serve with tomato ketchup or any chutney.
Vegetables Bonda
Let’s start making vegetables Bonda
IngREDIENTS
To make stuffing.
2 Cup mix vegetables vegetables ( potatoes, beans, peas,& carrots)chopped.
2 small onion Chopped
2 Tablespoon oil
1 mustard seeds
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
4-5 Green chilies chopped
Salt as required
Some curry leaves
Other ingredients
2 Cup Gram flour (basan)
1/2 Cup rice flour
1 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 turmeric powder
1/2 cumin seeds
Oil for frying
Water ( as required)
Salt as required
Instructions
Take a pan put on flame add oil when oil become hot add mustard seeds saute it.
Add onion, green chilies & curry leaves again saute it.
When onion changes its color add ginger garlic paste mix it now add mixed vegetables & salt .
When vegetables become soft turn off flame & keep aside.
Now take a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt & cumin seeds mix well.
Now add water to flour mixture & make a fine thick paste.
Now add vegetables mixture in thick paste, mix it .
Now take a frying pan put on flame add oil for frying, take a batter make round ball & carefully add vegetable round ball in frying pan ( make sure oil will be hot).
Fry bondas all sides when bondas turns golden brown remove from oil.
Serve Bonda with your favorite chutney or sauce.
Paneer Bonda Recipe
Let’s start making paneer Bonda Recipe
IngREDIENTS
100gram paneer( cut in small)
1/2 Cup Gram flour ( basan)
1 tables spoons rice flour
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 red chilli powder
1/4 garam masala powder
1/4 cumin powder
Oil for frying
Water as required
Salt as required
Pepper ( as required)
Chat masala ( optional)
Instructions
First we make filling take paneer ( cut in small) Now add salt & pepper in pepper in paneer you can also add pinch of chat masala, keep aside.
Take a mixing bowl add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt & cumin powder, garam masala powder mix well.
Now add water mixture and make a fine paste stir continuously to avoid lumps, make thick paste.
Now take a frying pan put on flame add oil for frying.
When oil become hot take small paneer cube dip in thick flour paste & carefully put in oil.
Make sure paneer cube coated with all side fry all side when it become golden brown remove in plate.
You can remove in paper or kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Paneer Bonda is ready serve with chutney or any sauce.
